Give Back to the Community

Since its formation in 2009, the Niwot Cultural Arts Association has raised over $1,000,000 in generous donations from the Niwot community. Those funds have been used entirely to support cultural arts in Niwot. Our 8-member board of directors are all volunteers. We have no paid employees, there is no administrative overhead, and every dollar contributed is used to fund our programs and facilities, including:

  • Whistle Stop Park
  • Rock & Rails Summer Concert Series
  • Niwot Children’s Park
  • First Friday Art Walk
  • Why Not Niwot? Juried Art Show
  • Niwot Sculpture Park
  • Let’s Wine About Winter
  • Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band
  • Family Art Walk

We also support our schools and other local non-profit organizations, with over $19,000 raised last year through our Tip Jar program. Donations are used to fund ongoing maintenance costs (Niwot Children’s Park alone costs $14,000 per year to maintain) and to fund new programs, facilities and events that support the arts.

NCAA Board of Directors. The founding directors were Bruce Warren, Mike Anfinson, and Tim Wise. Current directors are Kristin Alger, Alyson Bell, Satir DeMarco, Gene Hayworth, Vicki Maurer, Lisa Rivard, Phil Yates, and Bruce Warren, Officers:  Bruce Warren (President),  Alyson Varvel (Vice President), Gene Hayworth (Secretary) and Vicki Maurer (Treasurer).
